Overview
A well-established and growing property management company is looking to hire a NEW CoSec Administrator to join their professional Company Secretariat team based in Shrewsbury!
This role has come about due to exciting company growth! With an excellent training program, this role offers the opportunity to get involved with technical secretarial skills, being the point of contact between Solicitors and Property Managers.
This role is Monday-Friday full-time in the office.
Salary starts at £25,500 with a pay increase built in after successful completion of probation.
Duties
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Corresponding with conveyancing solicitors and internal departments
- Responding to pre-contract and re-mortgage enquiries
- Advising on transfer of equity requirements
- Providing up-to-date debtor history reports to solicitors
- Liaising with Accounts and Property Management teams
- Providing administrative support to the Company Secretariat team
- Managing scanning, filing, and document organisation tasks
- Responding to email queries in a timely and professional manner
- Reading and interpreting legal documentation
- Over time, producing information packs and supporting post-completion processes
- Assisting with company record maintenance, Companies House filings, and shareholder updates
- Supporting lease extensions, deeds of variation, and Land Registry searches
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will demonstrate prior office administrative experience alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. This role could suit a Law Graduate with an interest in property or perhaps someone in property who's keen to get more involved with the legal and compliance side of residential property matters.
