My client is a growing and reputable insurance firm based in Bromley , known for delivering excellent service in the property and household claims sector. As part of their expansion, they are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Household Claims Handler to join their supportive team — no prior experience in claims is required.

The Opportunity:
This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in insurance. You’ll receive full training to handle household/property insurance claims from start to finish. Working closely with experienced claims professionals, you’ll learn how to assess claims, communicate with customers, and guide cases through to resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Learning how to manage property insurance claims (such as water damage, fire, theft, storm, etc.)
  • Speaking with policyholders and understanding their claims
  • Supporting the claims team with administration and case updates
  • Developing skills in policy interpretation, decision-making, and negotiation
  • Gaining exposure to insurers, loss adjusters, and suppliers

Who You Are:

  • Eager to learn and start a career in the insurance industry
  • Strong communicator with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Organised, with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computer systems and multitasking
  • Previous office or customer service experience is helpful but not essential
