Overview
A fast-growing and modern accountancy firm is looking for a new Bookkeeper to join their team. This excellent firm supports thousands of businesses and individuals with a full range of accountancy, tax, payroll, advisory and financial planning services. They offer a collaborative and supportive office-based environment with genuine career progression.
This is a full-time role but 4 days per week can be considered. Hybrid working can occur after probation
Salary is up to circa £32,000. Higher salaries can be discussed if necessary but we encourage more junior applications to apply.
Duties
- Bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
- Liaising with clients to ensure records are complete and VAT returns are filed on time
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Bookkeeping to trial balance including bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
- Preparing schedules and reports as required
- Completing and filing VAT and CIS returns
- Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable timescales
What we're looking for
A successful candidate would have some relevant experience in UK accountancy practice and live within a reasonable commute.
