Overview

A well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Ashford is on the lookout for a new member of the team!

Monday-Friday 37.5hrs with option of hybrid working if needed.

Duties

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Drafting corporation tax computations and returns
• Assisting with the planning and execution of audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparing working papers, audit testing, and ensuring documentation is completed to a high standard
• Reviewing financial statements in line with UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Identifying and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior team members
• Preparing management accounts, often with commentary and analysis
• Assisting with VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries from clients
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing feedback
• Working closely with managers and partners to support client delivery and deadlines

Salary is flexible depending on experience bonus benefits. Higher salaries can be discussed.

A successful candidate for this role would have circa 3+ yrs experience in UK accountancy practice and be able to commute regularly to Ashford.
