Overview

A well-established and highly successful accountancy firm is on the lookout for a NEW Audit Senior to join their growing team! With a strong focus on sustainability, personal development and client care, this firm offers a unique opportunity to shape your own career path in a supportive and innovative environment. This varied and interesting job role keeps you on your toes with no two days the same! A range of different client sectors to look after will broaden your horizons to potentially new industry knowledge too!

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with a hybrid working structure.

Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Prepare audit work and review tasks completed by junior team members
  • Monitor workflow and communicate progress with clients and stakeholders
  • Research and resolve audit issues, escalating complex matters as needed
  • Prepare audit completion documentation including Going Concern assessments
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior staff
  • Maintain audit administration and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Act as key point of contact for clients during fieldwork
  • Attend client meetings including planning, review and close-down sessions
  • Support business development activities including networking and pitches

What we're looking for

A successful candidate will ideally be qualified in ACA/ACCA but part-qualified applicants may still be considered. Only strong UK practice background with audit exposure can be considered for this role and you must live within a 1hr commute.
