This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working options available.
Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Overview:
This fantastic, well-established practice is seeking an experienced Accounts/Audit Senior to join its growing team in the heart of Horsham. This role will be split between audit and accounts assignments, giving you the balance to further enhance your skills. You will be part of a supportive team with clear career progression pathways and opportunities to build strong client relationships.
Due to the nature of this role requiring client visits, a car and a valid driving licence are essential, and you must be able to travel to the office.
Your Duties:
- Lead audits from planning through to completion, reporting directly to managers and partners
- Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients across multiple industries
- Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work
- Work closely with clients to provide high-quality service and develop lasting relationships
- Assist with business advisory and planning work where required
- Liaise with partners on technical matters and present solutions to client queries
What we're looking for:
A successful candidate for this role will be a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with strong UK practice experience within a 1hr commute. You should have prior involvement in both audit and accounts preparation and be confident managing your own workload while mentoring junior staff.
