Overview
A respected and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Tunbridge Wells is on the lookout for a NEW Qualified Accountant to join their leadership team. This is a rare opportunity offering a genuine fast-track route to Partnership within 3–5 years (depending on experience) gaining business equity!

This role is full-time Monday–Friday.

Starting salary is dependent on experience & qualifications, with Partner-level earnings achievable in the future.  Higher starting salaries can be discussed if needed.

Duties

• Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to business development.
• Lead client meetings, presenting financial performance and growth strategies.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring high-quality client delivery.
• Collaborate with Partners on firm-wide initiatives and operational improvements.
• Drive efficiency through process improvements and technology adoption.
• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Provide proactive business advice and strategic planning support to clients.
• Oversee the team, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for key clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for
A successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong UK practice experience. You must live within 1hr commute of Tunbridge Wells.
