Marketing & Business Development Manager, London – £45,000+

 

Our client, a respected and growing legal firm, is seeking a highly driven Marketing & Business Development Manager with proven experience in the legal sector. This is a key leadership role focused on accelerating growth, strengthening market presence, and delivering long-term, sustainable profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, SEO, PPC, email, and content.
  • Elevate the firm’s brand and ensure consistent, professional representation across all channels.
  • Partner with Heads of Practice to design and drive the firm’s business development strategy.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.
  • Support fee earners in nurturing high-value client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and manage real-time lead generation to maximise conversion.
  • Deliver clear reporting on ROI, trends, and campaign insights to senior leadership.
  • Foster cross-department collaboration to drive firm-wide marketing and BD initiatives.

 

Experience & Skills

  • 7–10+ years’ marketing and business development experience within a legal practice (essential).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing Legal 500 and similar submissions.
  • Strong strategic mindset with excellent commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Expertise across digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
