Overview
A well-established and friendly Chartered Accountancy firm in Heathfield is seeking a Part-Time Accountant to join their team. This role offers flexibility, a supportive environment, and the chance to work three days per week (giving you a long weekend!). After settling in, there may be potential for one day working from home.

Salary depends on experience & qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties (not limiting to)

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assist with client queries and provide excellent service
• Support senior staff with ad-hoc tasks and compliance work

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will have some good prior UK practice experience to be able to self-manage and jump in with little training. You must live within a 1hr commute of the Heathfield area.
