Overview
A well-established Chartered Accountancy firm in Tunbridge Wells is on the lookout for a NEW member of the team. This is a fantastic semi-senior level role offering structured development into a senior position. You’ll enjoy a supportive environment, genuine career progression, and exposure to a varied client portfolio.

This role is Monday–Friday 37.5hrs.
Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications.  Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assist with year-end accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Support client managers with day-to-day queries and compliance tasks
• Work closely with senior staff to develop technical skills and progress towards managing your own portfolio
• Liaise with clients to maintain strong relationships and deliver excellent service

What we're looking for

Ideally, you’ll have started your ACA or ACCA qualification, but strong AAT candidates with proven practice experience will also be considered.

You must have circa 2yrs+ UK practice experience and live within a 1h commute of Tunbridge Wells.
