Overview
A fantastic and growing company near Haywards Heath is seeking a n ew member of the Payroll team team! This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing for weekly paid employees while supporting HR administration.

This is a full-time Monday-Friday position with scope for hybrid working once settled.
Duties
- Manage payroll processing each pay cycle, ensuring all relevant information is collected, verified, and entered accurately
- Provide prompt support to employees and managers by addressing payroll-related enquiries professionally
- Contribute to payroll reconciliations and produce reports for use internally and by external parties
- Follow established payroll procedures and remain compliant with current legislation and regulations
- Safeguard the privacy and security of employee pay information at all times
- Enter and update employee details on the HR system, including new joiners, leavers, and contractual changes
- Carry out manual calculations and corrections when needed to ensure payroll accuracy
- Maintain payroll databases and spreadsheets, checking data regularly for accuracy and consistency
- Assist with pension processes including auto-enrolment administration
- Offer wider HR administrative support such as onboarding and offboarding tasks, recruitment coordination, right-to-work checks, document handling, and reference requests
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong payroll experience and bring a desire to progress and develop, whilst contributing the the success of the organisation! You must live within a 1hr commute of the office location.
