Conveyancing Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Conveyancing Assistant to play a key role in a busy and collaborative property team.

 

The Role

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will support fee earners throughout the conveyancing process, helping to ensure property transactions run smoothly from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and completion of legal documents for property transactions
  • Conducting research on property titles, zoning regulations, and related matters
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
  • Preparing and organising settlement documentation including contracts, deeds, and mortgage papers
  • Reviewing property surveys, inspection reports, and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records and files in line with compliance requirements
  • Providing general administrative support to conveyancing solicitors and the wider team

 

About You

The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced legal environment.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a legal or property-related role (highly desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and terminology (advantageous)
