Graduate Specification Sales Executive | Remote / Field-Based – Midlands, North & North East

Design | Architecture | Sustainability | £30–40k + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

If you care about materials, surfaces, and architectural design — this role is for you.

This is not a desk job. And it’s definitely not cold sales.

Our client creates luxury, high-performance, sustainable surface finishes used on some of the most exciting architectural and interior projects in the UK and overseas. They’re looking for a design-trained graduate who wants to be out in the world — talking to architects, collaborating with designers, and influencing real projects from concept to completion.

You’ll be the link between design intent and built reality.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

Around 70% of your time will be spent face-to-face with architects, designers and specifiers.

Your days will include:

  • Meeting architects and designers to discuss materials, finishes and design intent
  • Getting products specified at concept and tender stage
  • Presenting samples, ideas and technical solutions
  • Delivering CPDs that educate and inspire
  • Supporting projects through specification, tender and contract
  • Building long-term relationships with creative decision-makers
  • Managing your projects and pipeline via CRM

Think consultative, collaborative, design-led — not pushy sales.

Who This Role Is Made For

You might be a Product Design, Architecture or Interior Design graduate who:

  • Loves materials, textures and sustainable design
  • Enjoys explaining ideas and building relationships
  • Is confident meeting people and presenting concepts
  • Wants variety, autonomy and real responsibility early in their career
  • Prefers being out meeting clients rather than sitting behind a screen

You don’t need years of sales experience — you need curiosity, confidence and creative thinking.

Essential:

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Your own car (car allowance provided)
  • Happy travelling across the Midlands, North & North East
