Overview
A successful and expanding operational business is searching for a NEW Part‑Time Accounts Manager to take control of day‑to‑day finances, modernise internal systems, and deliver accurate reporting to the Managing Director and external accountants.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, is a Sage expert, and wants to work closely with the leadership team to bring structure, efficiency and visibility to the numbers. You’ll have a real say in how things are done and will be trusted to streamline, automate and enhance every area of the finance function.
This position is part‑time, with flexible hours available for the right person.
Salary is dependent on experience. Higher salaries can be discussed .
Duties
- Streamlining and modernising financial processes
- Optimising spreadsheets and improving reporting formats
- Driving paperless systems and time‑saving process improvements
- Managing daily bookkeeping duties across the business
- Controlling the sales ledger and ensuring money is coming in on time
- Preparing and running reports for the Managing Director
- Liaising with external accountants and supplying required information
- Managing cashflow visibility and financial controls
- Ensuring Sage records are accurate, up‑to‑date and well‑structured
- Supporting the business with commercial insights where required
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will bring strong hands‑on experience with Sage, excellent organisation, a process‑driven mindset, and confidence taking responsibility for the entire finance function. Someone proactive, accurate, and able to improve systems while keeping everything running smoothly.
Due to the location, you must have access to your own vehicle.
