Manufacturing products in Asia and distributing them worldwide, the company has built an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative products to customers across international markets.
Seeking to expand their busy team of 12, this is a role playing a key part in managing international freight movements, coordinating global supply chains and ensuring the smooth delivery of shipments across air, sea and road freight.
Daily responsibilities might range from:
- Managing international import and export shipments
- Liaising with freight carriers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and overseas suppliers
- Coordinating international shipments from manufacturing sites to global markets
- Obtaining freight rates and managing transportation costs
- Preparing customs and shipping documentation
- Managing logistics enquiries by phone and email
- Tracking shipments and resolving logistical issues
- Coordinating with warehouse operations and stock movements
- Working proactively to improve current freight and supply chain processes
