Overview

An established and highly respected Chartered Accountancy Practice is looking to appoint a NEW Part-Qualified Accountant within their Banbury office. This well-established firm prides itself on delivering a personalised and tailored service to their clients needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional to further develop their technical knowledge whilst gaining exposure to a diverse client base. You'll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners whilst receiving support towards your professional qualification.

This role is Monday-Friday with flexibility and hybrid working options possible after probation.

Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assist with the preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax computations
• Produce management accounts and bookkeeping support for clients
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and answer day-to-day queries
• Support Managers with portfolio work and client projects
• Assist with the review and reconciliation of client accounting records
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Work with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
• Continue developing technical knowledge through ACA or ACCA studies

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will have circa 2+ years prior UK Accountancy Practice experience and be actively studying ACA or ACCA. You must live within 45 minutes of of Banbury.
