You may not have considered recruitment before. In simple terms, recruitment is about helping businesses find the right people and helping candidates make the right career move. It combines sales, marketing, relationship building, negotiation and problem solving, which makes it an excellent starting point for a commercially minded graduate.

Recruitment Solutions South East is looking for bright, ambitious graduates to join our team in either Kings Hill or Tunbridge Wells.

You do not need any recruitment experience. We are more interested in your attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.

What would you actually be doing?

You will work with local businesses that need help finding new employees, while building relationships with candidates who are looking for their next opportunity.

Your role will include:

• Speaking with businesses to understand who they need to hire
• Building relationships with candidates and learning about their ambitions
• Advertising vacancies and using different methods to find suitable people
• Interviewing candidates and helping them prepare for job opportunities
• Introducing candidates to employers
• Negotiating job offers and supporting both sides through the hiring process
• Developing your own network of candidates and clients
• Learning how businesses operate across a range of industries

No two days are the same. You could be helping someone secure their first graduate role in the morning, speaking with the director of a local business in the afternoon and celebrating a successful placement before you go home.
