Overview

A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a new Senior Accountant to join their Chatham office. Set up over 20 years ago and with growth plans in the future, to join now is an excellent chance to build a career with an expanding company.

This role is full-time Monday-Friday.

Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed .

Duties

• Prepare year-end accounts for a range of SME clients
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide strategic financial advice and tax planning support
• Oversee bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support junior team members with training and development
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies as needed

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will have solid UK practice experience and live within a reasonable commute. Strong candidates qualified by experience can also be considered for this role.
