Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Support, West Malling - £24,000 – £29,000 DOE (pro rata)
We are working with a friendly, client-focused contractor based in West Malling, delivering projects across London and the South East. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for someone organised, reliable and detail-oriented to join their accounts team on a part-time basis.
What you will be doing
- Processing purchase invoices and keeping the ledger up to date.
- Reconciling supplier statements and handling any queries that come in.
- Supporting the accounts team with general admin – filing, scanning, and managing emails.
- Answering the phone and helping with post when needed.
- Pitching in wherever needed in a small, supportive team.
- Occasionally covering extra hours during holidays or busy periods.
What they are looking for
- Someone with experience in a purchase ledger or accounts support role.
- Confident using Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Great attention to detail and strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- A flexible, can-do attitude – happy to help out and be part of a small, hands-on team.
Due to the office location, your own transport is essential.
Ability to work every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (20 hours) with the flexibility to cover holidays
